Your records

Favourites, notes, statuses, visit plans, the child’s age and the saved starting point stay in your browser. Filters, the town selected for distances and the language are stored there too. A backup file that you export is downloaded to your device. These records are not sent to our server. You can change your records in the interface or delete the site’s stored data in your browser. Delete downloaded files on your device.

Syncing between devices is switched off. The server accepts no family data.

Location and map

The page asks for your location only when you request it, through your browser’s location service. The location stays in the page’s memory. It is neither stored permanently nor sent to our server.

When you open the map, your browser loads the map tiles directly from the federal geoportal (wmts.geo.admin.ch). The Federal Office of Topography swisstopo then sees your IP address and which tiles are requested. Your location is not sent, but the tiles show which part of the map you are viewing.

Google Maps opens only after you click the link, outside this site. The link contains the destination and, if you entered a starting point, that starting point. Google’s privacy policy applies there. Links to organisers and sources also open their websites only after a click.

Report an error

“Report an error” opens your e-mail application with a pre-filled message addressed to hello@minitandem.ch. The pre-filled message contains the activity’s name, its ID and a link to its entry. The message is sent only when you send it from that application; the website itself transmits nothing. We receive your e-mail address and your message and use them only to handle the report.

E-mails to hello@minitandem.ch are stored in a mailbox at Infomaniak in Switzerland and forwarded to a mailbox at Google (Gmail). Google may also process them outside Switzerland, in particular in the USA.

Access log

For troubleshooting, the server writes an entry for each request: time, request method, response status, duration, response size and technical details of the connection (protocol, encryption). The IP address is stored only in shortened form (IPv4 to /24, IPv6 to /48). The address of the requested page and the details your browser sends are not stored. Entries are deleted after seven days at the latest. The server’s error messages contain no IP addresses.

Cookies and external content

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. It loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Scripts, catalogue files, images and the service worker come from this site. The service worker stores files in the browser so that the site also works offline. External map tiles are loaded only while the map is open. The settings of your browser and device also apply to the location service.

Hosting

The site and its access log are hosted on a server of Infomaniak Public Cloud in Switzerland. The provider is Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Geneva).

Your rights

You can ask for information about your personal data and request its correction or deletion. To do so, write to hello@minitandem.ch. Browser data and downloaded backups are only on your device; we have no access to them.
