Visit conditions

Additional conditions
  • The tourist office describes the playground and the mini zoo. Its page contains an old domain and a different closing time on Wednesday, so the current operation of the children's facilities must be confirmed with the restaurant.
  • Food4family describes a playground right next to the tables on the rear terrace, away from car traffic; toys are provided inside on request. The review has no date: this is useful information about the earlier arrangement, not confirmation of the situation in 2026.
  • Google Maps has specific reviews of the playground: one from a visitor marked "2 years ago" and two more marked "7 years ago" at the check on 27.09.2026. The mention of animals is also old. Among the reviews viewed, there is no recent confirmation of the mini zoo.
  • The restaurant's website publishes the 2026 menu: coffee, espresso, tea, Ovomaltine and hot chocolate at CHF 4; vegetarian Spätzle CHF 23; perch fillet CHF 27.
  • Coffee and hot chocolate: CHF 8 by the menu total, without food. This is not an admission ticket and not confirmation of access to the playground with drinks only.
  • The hours are taken from the current website restaurant-jardin.ch. For a visit with a meal, the restaurant recommends reserving a table; for the near term, call 026 672 30 13.
  • Before the trip, check whether the playground is open and whether toys are provided inside; ask for a table by the play area. The age of the equipment and the access conditions are unknown. This is a visit with the child's own adult, not the public beach of Muntelier.

To confirm before you go
