Kafi8 · café with a play room

Visit conditions

Additional conditions

• The Bärner Mamis family review describes a whole room with a toy kitchen, books, a wooden house and a table for drawing and building. According to the review, the café has about ten tables and two areas with soft seating. The date is given as 27 July without a year. The café website shows Mini-Kafi-8.
• Additional evidence about the layout: in a copy of a Google review on Restaurant Guru, a visitor writes that the play room is directly connected to the dining area. When checked on 27.09.2026, the review showed the relative date "8 months ago". The original date has not been established. A connection to the dining area does not mean the whole room can be seen from every table.
• A copy of a Google review dated 28.02.2024 on Wanderlog also describes the play room and a friendly welcome for children. This is a separate visit experience, not a guarantee of the current atmosphere or quietness.
• Closed for the autumn holidays, 5–18 October 2026. The café also usually closes during other school holidays. Check each period on the Events & Ferien page.
• The home page announces only Tuesday and Wednesday, 08:00–11:00. Do not use the evening hours from the earlier review. The menu is under review and current prices are not published.
• A non-commercial café. The visit is with a parent, not handing the child over to a carer. A separate trip to Kerzers.
• Questions remain about the charge for play, whether an order is required, and a convenient table near the entrance to the room. Aggregators show outdated hours and a temporary closure marker. Check the schedule with Kafi8 itself. The telephone is available during opening hours. There is an email, info@kafi8.ch.

To confirm before you go
